For Master Hellier

My Dear
I am very sorry these sick
disorders come so often, I think
they are like your poor mamas
sick fits & mene, as to ye suit
I am sure could not hurt you
but think your purges after ye
measels were too weak if you
would have me I will send to
your papa, but send me word
your mind, I hope it wont be
long before I see you hear
& should you be ill will come
see you but we have such wet
thundering weather & I have
been thrice out in it, & it
frights me I scare dare ride
I hope to hear you are better
dont drink too much mentr
at a time, I have sent you
a slice of cake least yours
should be gone,
/
I received your ring last night I hear
you are to have a new hat to day
in haste but wanted to
know how you do
yours S H
