I have looked over Mr Bests
Letter. Who seems to say that You
had before agreed to this Matter
Yourself. if this was Really so —
I Don’t see how you Can gett off
with Honour, but I think the
Terms now proposed which are Different
from the first, are much more —
advantageous for you, for Whatever
is put into the power of a Wife to
Dispose of I should think the Husband
Would stand the Best Chance to have
the Benefitt of. I should think it —
therefore adviseable to Consent to
put £1000 into the Ladys power, In case
of no Issue to be shall live to the age
of 21, I am of the same opinion —
I ever was that the Bargain is a —

Hard one, but I Dont see How you Can
Retract With Honour. If you made no —
Objection before Mr. Hatrell, to the first
Proposal, as the Matter now proposed is much
better for you than that was; I am Sir
