I Recieved yours and I hope you also recieved 
mine with ye account of my safe arrival in Town 
I had likewise a Letter from Mr. Lambourne 
of Oxford. — I have sent you Walland’s — 
Voluntaries pray keep them very clean as I bought 
the Book for myself but you are welcome to 
the use of it I have likewise sent you some 
very pretty Marches ┌ as a present ┐ in 4 Parts & in the first Violin 
Part have made a X opposite those Tunes 
which I think the best particularly ye 13th which 
is an Excellent one I have also sent Down 
Eight small Musick Books one for Each — 
Performer (Viz: 1st Horn; 2d Horn | First Hautboy | 
2d Hautboy | First Bassoon | 2d Bassoon; First 
Clarinet | 2d Clarinet. | pray Let them be Letter’d so 
& keep them Clean & when Mr. Eller comes They 
will be ready for him to Instruct them.

I have also sent a Trumpet Mouthpiece for your Brother 
an exceeding good one & crooks & half crooks & shank’s, one whole 
crook, one half crook & three shanks for Each Horn pray 
Let great care be taken of them they are very Expensive the whole 
crook makes the Horn in ye key of D: ye half crook alone is 
E Flatt. both used together is C & the shanks help 
out a Bassoon Reed Case also but for Reeds there is no 
good ones to be bought they must Learn to make them all good 
Player’s do. all these Things will be at Wolverhampton 
on Wednesday next pray Stage Coach. Write to me Directly
why Dont the Turkey, Cheese, &c come up ‘Tis alway’s an
age before one gets any business done. Tell Nanny to — 
Send me up some Barberries both Pickled & preserved.
I hope you go on with ye Jobbs & practice Musick you should
Set about & learn ye Corronation anthem Remember me to Every body
